Whos Who

Richard Tims - Chairman
'Chairman Rich' has masterminded a turnaround in the club’s fortunes since taking over in 1999. At that point Sheffield FC were playing in front of one man and a dog at the cavernous Don Valley stadium, with no fans, no cash and not much hope of making it to the 150th anniversary in 2007.

But a combination of passion for the club the shrewd business sense has seen the fortunes of the world’s oldest club transformed. The club now has a ground to call home – the Bright Finance stadium in Dronfield – a loyal fan base and an ever increasing army of worldwide members.

"We’ve come a long way but there’s still a long way to go," Chairman told the SFC site. "We’ve got big plans for this club for the 150th anniversary in 2007 and beyond."
