Ladies Development Team

Sheffield FC Ladies' Reserve Team was formed in the summer of 2008 after the ladies first team won promotion to the North East Regional WFL Premier Division. After three seasons of playing in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women's County League, the reserves started the 2011/12 season as members of the FA Women's Premier League (Reserves) Division courtesy of the ladies first team's promotion from the Northern Combination WFL. Consistent league finishes were topped last season by a first ever trophy - the FA WPL Reserve Cup in which Sheffield beat Bradford City Reserves 1-0 in the final. This season, the reserves begin a new challenge in the Northern Division of the FA Women's Super League development section. A mostly young team full of promising talent, the reserve team promises much for the coming campaign.
