Match Report
The teams exchanged early Christmas Presents in the form of OGs this afternoon at the Bright Finance Stadium.

Sheffield made a positive start and had Bankers on the back foot early on; Tom Carney put Danny Moore through on goal but the young striker was just offside. It took a great save to deny Moore with only 5 minutes gone when Danny mcKenzie floated in a great free kick which Moore got a good header to. It was McKenzie who went close next with a shot across goal. Eskante then gave the visitors cause for concern in the area but he took a touch too many and the chance went away. James Foster saw an effort from range over the bar. Unfortunately from the Sheffield view the game changed when both Andy Taylor and Keith Cronin were booked within minutes of each other. Bankers took the lead on 38 minutes when they got behind the Sheffield defence and George Barnes diverted the ball past Sayles. Almost immediately Dany McKenzie had the ball in the net after a good move but it was disallowed for offside.

Danny Moore got the equalising goal within a minute of the restart. Eske received the ball on the penalty spot and he passed it to Moore who slotted it past the keeper from 6 yards. The relief was shortlived as Bankers took the lead again when Nick White scored an easy tap in after Sayles had parried a cross into his path. McKenzie came close to equalising when a good cross shot went just wide and then Eskante went close from a corner. Adriano Portaluri replaced Keith Cronin after the hour and after a good interchange with eskante in the area put in a great cross only to see the keeper grab the ball at the feet of the onrushing Moore. McKenzie was the next player with an opportunity but his shot from Eskantes pass went straight to the keeper. Sheffield equalised when Danny Moores shot was deflected into his own net by the unfortunate Bankers keeper. The draw preserves Sheffield's 10 game unbeaten record but gave Millmoor Juniors a 3 point lead at the top of the table.
