Young Guns put pen to paper

Sheffield FC's flourishing investment in youth policy reaped more dividends this week, as four more youngsters made the step up, by signing First Team forms in advance of the 2018/19 Evo-Stik East season.

19 year old Keeper Josh Turton has put pen to paper, along with Scholarship trio of Ehsan Mohammed, James Hastings and Alfie Eagle.

Josh was highly sought-after before signing with Sheffield FC. The young goalkeeper enjoyed a fantastic campaign in 2017/18, furthering his development with Teversal Football Club.

Ehsan Mohammed is an 18 year old attacking midfielder who has shown he is no slouch when it comes to mixing it at first team level, having shown himself to be a star in last season's Under 18s and 19s sides.

Also making the cut is 19 year old James Hastings, another who has developed through the Sheffield FC Foundation Scholarship programmes, as well as performing in the WVH North Midlands League last season.

Finally left back Alfie Eagle has committed to Sheffield FC, having been picked out as one for the future by Rotherham United manager Paul Warne, and given a two week trial with the Millers.
