Meet Uruguay's Pioneers

South America has its first member of the Club of Pioneers, as Albion FC from Montevideo in Uruguay, joined the elite membership of national firsts around the globe. 

Albion are recognised as the oldest team in Uruguay, having a recorded foundation date of 1st June 1891 (pictured above in 1898), and are one of the oldest on the continent.
