Disability Team win in a Flourish
The Home of Football hosted an entertaining game of football on Monday evening, as Sheffield FC's Disability Team played host to Brunsmeer Awareness FC, in a Sheffield and Hallamshire Flourish League fixture.
SFCDT won the fixture 5-3, after going ahead at the break 4-1 with two goals from George Allison and one each from Robbie Fairest-Claphamand Jack Chappell, whilst Brunsmeer responded with one from Ashraf Youssef.
The second half saw George complete his hat-trick, and not to be outdone, so did Ashraf for the visitors.
The game was part of the Sheffield and Hallamshire Flourish League, which is a partnership between Sheffield Flourish and the FA, made up of clubs who can evidence an inclusive approach to people from marginalised groups. Teams play 11v11 football in a completely flexible format.
