Club in last day free-for-all

Witton Albion have announced that entry to their home game against Sheffield FC on Saturday is free.

The home team will be presented with a trophy before kick off as a reward for finishing as runners-up to Shaw Lane in the Northern Premier League’s Division One South.

That was settled on Monday after a points deduction for fielding an ineligible player was confirmed, leaving them unable to catch the Ducks at the table’s summit.

Sheffield will be looking to end what has been a mixed season on a high, having picked up one point in the last four games, their last win the 9-0 demolition of Market Drayton Town last month.
