Why become a member of Sheffield Football Club?

Become part of the oldest football club in the world, the very first football club, where it all began! It does not matter who you support, we can all support the oldest club in the world. SFC is an amateur club and always will be. Perhaps your first club is already a club member. Many clubs from the UK and abroad have been delighted to help us and have become club members of the oldest club in the world.

Joining the oldest club in the world is an opportunity to support (and maybe even be active in) grass roots football. No £100,000 a week contracts here!!

Know that your modest membership fee (just £25 a year) will go a long way to help the oldest club in the world stay around for another 150 years and stay active in other areas such as campaigns like ‘Boots for Africa’, children’s, disability and women’s football.

Join the 150 year celebrations, a host of events are being lined up for this momentous occasion.
Join other members from around the globe as well as famous personalities such as Eric Cantona, Sepp Blater, Michael Vaughan, Sir Bobby Robson and many more.

By the way you do also get your own members pack which includes your certificate, a pin badge, a regular newsletter, your name on a plaque at the ground as well as 4 free tickets to any home game. You will also soon be able to get 10% discount when shopping online at the club shop.

For those of you who cannot get to any games we are hoping to launch a new service where you can download highlights of 4 matches for free (subject to funds becoming available). We are also going to launch a virtual plaque so you can see your name on the SFC website.

As membership grows so will the benefits but the greatest benefit of all for many members is just knowing they are a part of the oldest club in the world - Sheffield Football Club
