Sheffield put up a brave fight in this hastily arranged friendly against Conference Premier side Lincoln City tonight, but ended up losing by a solitary goal on a bitterly coldnight at the BT Local Business Stadium. The Imps who were trying out several new players, won by a goal in the 20th minute by Jake Sheridan, and despite their best efforts Club were unable to draw level.
