First Team Manager. Initially joined Sheffield FC at the beginning of season 1999/2000 as Assistant to then Manager John Pearson. The season after Dave became Joint Manager with Pearson before taking on the Managers job on his own in January 2001.Previously managed Parkgate, Hallam FC, Maltby Main and in the Unibond League with Alfreton Town. Playing career included spells with Crewe Alexander, Worksop Town, Hallam FC, Ilkeston Town, Alfreton Town and abroad in the National Leagues of New Zealand, Finland and Australia. Dave managed Sheffield to a 4th place finish in the League for three consecutive seasons and in his 7 and a half seasons in sole charge has led the First Team to 4 Cup trophies as well as promotion last season to the Unibond League as well as to two more League Cup Finals. In the 2004/05 season Dave managed the Club to a League and Senior Cup winning 'double' before in season 2005/06 Sheffield again lifted the Senior Cup at Hillsborough. Winner of the Sheffield Telegraph Manager of the Year Award in years 2002,2003,2004,2005and 2007.
